London - based music producer | songwriter Payne Pepper Jam (also known as Janis Peins - Payne) first held a guitar at 13 years old, since then his music journey lead his music passion to Youth Community guitar school. Despite nylon strings and acoustic guitar classes, his songwriter journey with lyric sheets after a few years landed on metal strings in alternative music. With the focus being on the creative process and music vision, Payne Pepper Jam home studio was build where his musical compositions are recorded and mixed. Payne Pepper Jam embraces creative freedom and courageously uses it to his advantage in creating songs without borders or limitations. The melodies in his music also feel very animated and spontaneous, an obvious sign that this performer is actually genuinely connecting with his work, in a much deeper way.   

 "I dare to express my own songwriting journey - "Music is not seeking fame, music wants to be understood ". Since I was able to play a guitar, all I wanted is to be understood. This little bit of sentimentality or originality still chases my songwriting foundation until now.  

 Mostly my thoughts and feelings are replicated into sounds or written lyrics in harmony with myself. Very often my music is trapped between mainstream pop, electronic and classical compositions becoming aware of a very challenging and intriguing moment during songwriting."
